Role Overview:
NetCom Learning is seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales to build and lead a high-performing NYC enterprise sales organization.
This is a hands-on Player-Coach role requiring the ability to lead a team, drive enterprise revenue, develop strategic accounts, build pipeline, coach sales representatives, and establish a scalable sales organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong enterprise sales leadership, NYC market knowledge, and a builder mentality, with the ability to position NetCom Learning as a strategic workforce transformation and technology learning partner.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate enterprise sales representatives.
  • Set sales goals, KPIs, operating rhythms, and accountability.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent.
  • Conduct pipeline, forecast, and performance reviews.
  • Build a high-performance, customer-first NYC sales culture.
Enterprise Growth:
  • Drive new enterprise customer acquisition and strategic account expansion.
  • Build qualified pipeline across NYC and the broader tristate market.
  • Personally participate in strategic customer meetings and complex opportunities.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles and close significant opportunities.
  • Develop strategic account plans and maintain forecasting discipline.
Player-Coach & Market Development:
  • Participate in prospecting, customer meetings, and strategic deals.
  • Coach sales calls, proposals, discovery, and negotiation.
  • Build relationships with enterprise decision-makers, technology partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent NetCom Learning at relevant customer, vendor and industry events.
Strategic Leadership:
  • Position NetCom Learning as a strategic workforce transformation partner across AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data and digital transformation.
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and Delivery.
  • Build a repeatable and scalable sales operating model.

Must-Haves:
1) 8+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally 10–15 years across sales and leadership.
2) 3+ years of direct sales management experience.
3) Proven track record managing enterprise revenue/bookings targets.
4) Experience selling complex, consultative enterprise solutions.
5) Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop sales teams.
6) Strong track record of pipeline generation and enterprise deal closure.
7) Experience selling to senior business, technology, HR/L&D, or procurement stakeholders.
8) Strong CRM, forecasting, and opportunity-management discipline.
9) Strong NYC/tristate market familiarity.
10) Willingness to work from the NYC office and local market five days per week.
11) Strong interest in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and workforce transformation.

Good-to-Haves:
1) Existing enterprise relationships across the NYC/tristate market.
2) Experience with Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Google Cloud, or similar ecosystems.
3) Background in technology services, IT consulting, managed services, AI, cybersecurity, or cloud.
4) Experience selling enterprise learning, certification, or workforce-development solutions.
5) Experience building a new territory, sales office, or business unit.
6) Experience with recurring-revenue, managed-service or multi-year agreements.
7) Strong technology partner/channel relationships.
8) Experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment.
