Help build the foundation of Abnormal's next generation of security products. The Abnormal Data Platform (ADP) is the core data organization layer that powers our ability to understand and secure enterprise behavior across cloud and SaaS environments. We're looking for a technical leader who can scale both our platform and our teams across global development centers.
You will join as a Director of Engineering reporting to our Senior Director of Engineering, David Hagar. In this role, you'll lead multiple engineering teams across US, Singapore, and Bangalore while building the platform that serves as the backbone for Abnormal's entire product portfolio.
Your Impact
- Own the vision and execution of ADP as the comprehensive enterprise knowledge platform that powers all Abnormal products
- Drive platform adoption across internal R&D teams and external enterprise customers
- Build and mentor engineering managers across global development centers
- Define our technical strategy to support multiple product lines at enterprise scale
- Create an inclusive engineering culture that enables teams to tackle ambiguous problems with clear direction
- Partner with product leadership to align technical investments with business outcomes

Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers
- Strong track record of hiring and developing engineering leaders
- Experience building and scaling platforms that process sensitive enterprise data
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with product and business stakeholders

Base salary range:
$250,400—$294,600 USD
