Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale high-performing engineering teams working on complex, business-critical systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other partners to define and deliver on our technical roadmap.
- Drive engineering excellence through strong technical standards, scalable architecture, and delivery velocity.
- Serve as the Poland Site Lead—responsible for hiring, team culture, local operations, and leadership development.
- Grow and mentor a talented team of engineers and managers, fostering long-term growth and retention.
- Champion a strong engineering culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Help shape and execute our AI strategy—partnering with product and research teams to integrate AI into core systems and workflows.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in high-growth, product-led tech companies, and at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles
- Proven success in managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams, with oversight of 20+ engineers and managers
- Deep technical background in distributed systems or enterprise SaaS platforms
- A hands-on, “do-what-it-takes” attitude with strong ownership and bias for action
- Strong business acumen and a data-driven approach to improving engineering operations, team performance, and delivery
- Experience building and leading global or remote teams—prior responsibility for launching or growing international offices
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset and ability to work across time zones and cultures
- Fluency in English and Polish, both written and verbal
