This role serves as the primary steward of the Mission Software Initiative, including roadmap execution, IR&D alignment, customer engagement, and technical integration across programs.

Key Responsibilities:

CTO Initiative Ownership:

• Lead the Mission Software Initiative, defining and managing execution of multiple projects and related roadmap elements.

• Define and propagate best practices in DevSecOps across programs —including CI/CD automation, software assurance, test harnesses, secure coding policies, and cloud orchestration approaches.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience in one or more mission domains: ISR, autonomy, space operations, EW, C2, cyber, or tactical aviation.
  • Familiarity with MBSE, digital engineering environments, or mission modeling/simulation.
  • Experience with exportability strategies, releasability planning, and coalition ready mission software.
