- 15+ years of overall experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership or director-level roles.
- Proven experience with DXP platforms: Sitecore (XM Cloud, XP, CDP, Personalize), Optimizely SaaS/PaaS CMS, Contentstack, or similar headless platforms.
- Deep understanding of modern web architecture — Next.js, React, APIs, microservices, and composable DXPs.
- Strong exposure to AI applications in productivity, personalization, and automation domains.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Vercel) and DevOps CI/CD automation.
- Excellent grasp of engineering processes, SDLC governance, documentation, and code quality frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global delivery environment with distributed teams.
- Define and enforce engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across the DXP ecosystem.
- Guide solution and technical architects across Sitecore (XM Cloud, CDP, Personalize, Content Hub), Optimizely SaaS CMS/Commerce, and Contentstack.
- Review solution designs, ensure scalability, security, and compliance alignment across client implementations.
- Lead innovation initiatives leveraging AI copilots, generative AI tools, and composable architecture principles.
- Own delivery governance for offshore DXP engagements — ensuring on-time, high-quality, and within-budget delivery.
- Drive engineering productivity by introducing AI-led development accelerators, automated QA, and code governance tools.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and delivery dashboards for performance measurement.
- Standardize engineering documentation practices including architecture blueprints, design docs, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with PMO to align delivery models (Agile PODs, distributed teams, fixed bid, T&M) with client expectations.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary engineering team of architects, leads, and developers across multiple DXP platforms.
- Build a strong engineering culture rooted in innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams — strategy, design, architecture, and QA.
- Collaborate with global DXP leadership to define technical roadmaps and expand capabilities in emerging DXP technologies.
- Champion productivity improvement through process re-engineering and automation.
- Contribute to pre-sales, RFP responses, and client solutioning with detailed technical inputs.
- Represent the DXP practice in internal and external forums to showcase engineering excellence.
