Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team dedicated to delivering world-class client reporting, data visualization, and interactive analytics experiences.
- Drive the strategic vision for client-facing data products, ensuring that complex investment data is presented with clarity, speed, and relevance to business decision-makers.
- Lead the engineering strategy for integrating Generative AI and Agentic solutions to redefine how clients interact with data (e.g., conversational analytics, autonomous reporting agents).
- Foster a culture of product excellence and user-centric innovation, bridging the gap between data engineering and the final user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Client Services) to define the next generation of investment reporting and contribute to the Client Experience roadmap.
- Champion the development of modern reporting architectures that support high-concurrency dashboarding, near-real-time insights, and seamless AI-driven interactions.
- Present product strategies and experience-led insights to executive leadership, ensuring clarity on how technology assets drive client value and retention.
Requirements
- 20+ years of engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on leadership within the FinTech sector, specifically in Client Reporting, Analytics Platforms, or Investment Intelligence.
- 10+ years of proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role, demonstrating strong strategic vision regarding Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and User Experience.
- Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying client-facing Generative AI solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with expertise in serving data to clients at scale (e.g., high-performance BI tools, custom visualization layers, API-first reporting).
- Proficiency in reporting frameworks, SQL, and Python, with experience designing end-to-end analytics pipelines from the data warehouse to the user interface.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex technical challenges into compelling client-centric narratives for executive stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in both FinTech and BigTech environments, with a strong understanding of investment management at scale.
- A proven track record of driving engineering excellence through effective team processes and innovative solutions.
- Some experience with a focus on Agentic workflows that enhance user decision-making.
Salary Range:
$175,000 - $325,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
