WHO YOU ARE:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our Enterprise API and customer Identity and access management platforms. This is a senior leadership role that requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, architectural oversight, engineering team leadership, and close coordination with internal business stakeholders and external clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for enterprise application development, delivery, and support.
- Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Oversee end-to-end software engineering processes, including architecture design, sprint planning, QA automation, and deployment.
- Drive Enterprise API platform, and customer Identity and access management platform.
- Collaborate closely with product management and business leads to align technical efforts with product vision and business goals.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across multiple product streams.
- Lead efforts in adopting AI, analytics, and automation into core systems.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership/director-level
role. - Bachelor’s or equivalent in technology or related field, master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise systems in a regulated industry (insurance/financial services preferred).
- Deep understanding of modern tech stacks (Java, Node.js, React, Angular, etc.) and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong experience in enterprise system integration, RESTful APIs, microservices, and message-driven/event-based architectures.
- Strong working knowledge of API gateways, API monetization, and API documentation
- Experience with AI/ML concepts and their application in enterprise systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing distributed teams, including offshore development centers.

The expected salary range for this position is $190,000- $220,000, dependent on skills and location. The salary range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
