Your Impact and Contribution.

As a Director, you will play a senior role in a dynamic and high-performing team, leading complex client relationships and transactions across the natural resources and broader energy transition sectors, with a particular focus on corporate and project finance for mining assets.
You will be involved in all aspects of deal activity, including origination, financial analysis, modelling, facility structuring, due diligence, credit assessment, execution and in-life portfolio management.

Do work that matters:

You will play a key leadership role in providing client, transaction and operational support across the customer lifecycle.

  • Preparing and reviewing credit papers, annual credit reviews and credit applications for new and existing transactions.
  • Analysing sector trends, commodity markets and regulatory developments to support client engagement, risk assessment and the preparation of relevant, compelling client pitches.
  • Establishing, deepening and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Partnering with product specialists, credit risk and other internal stakeholders to deliver whole-of-bank solutions for clients.
  • Supporting the coaching, development and capability uplift of junior team members.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Demonstrated experience structuring loans and credit for complex corporate and project finance transactions.
  • A strong track record leading and executing transactions, ideally within a business or institutional banking or a related environment (eg debt advisory).
  • A genuine interest in the mining sector and the role commodities and critical minerals will play in the energy transition. Sector experience or knowledge will be viewed favourably.
  • A strong understanding of risk management and credit risk issues, supported by financial modelling, research and analytical capability.
  • The ability to understand complex structured transactions and assess the commercial, credit and client implications.
  • The ability to identify client needs and deliver relevant banking products and services through a clear, client-centred value proposition.

What we offer:

This opportunity will give you exposure to a wide range of clients, transactions and stakeholders across the business, while being part of a focused and hard-working team that is passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients.
