The Role
Do you enjoy solving complex problems, designing elegant solutions, and improving how systems and teams work together? We are seeking a Director to join the Equity Product and Trading Solutions team at FCM. In this role, you will help drive the development and evolution of our core electronic trading infrastructure, including order management and routing, FIX connectivity, market data, and risk controls. A key focus of this position will be leading the buildout of critical capabilities for a new equity trading offering targeted at our professional (pro) client segment, partnering closely with internal stakeholders from early concept through delivery and launch. As an integral member of the product team, you will work closely with technology, trading consultants, operations, risk, compliance, legal, data science, and other internal partners to deliver scalable, differentiated electronic trading solutions for the pro client segment
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented mindset
- Owning the end-to-end execution cost framework, including platform logic, venue maintenance, fee schedules, reporting, and analysis
- Modernizing and future-proofing the cost-plus pricing model to support evolving use cases, new client tiers, and appropriate controls and auditability
- Building, maintaining, and scaling direct API connectivity for order entry defining endpoints, entitlements, authentication, throttles and throughput expectations
- Familiarity with electronic equity trading concepts and market structure (a plus, not required)
- Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing, cross‑functional product delivery squads using modern product management practices
- Strong understanding of the technical and operational components and workflows associated with electronic equity trading products
- Proven ability to act as the voice of the customer, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology teams

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
