Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of eCommerce to lead our eCommerce team. This role will play a critical part in defining and executing the company's digital commerce strategy, driving profitable growth, delivering best-in-class customer experiences, and leveraging analytics to support key business initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced digital commerce leader with a strong understanding of online retail operations, customer acquisition, merchandising, and cross-functional leadership who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the overall eCommerce strategy in alignment with company objectives and long-term business goals.

  • Own the eCommerce P&L, including annual sales planning, budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.

  • Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Finance, IT, Operations, and Customer Service to develop and execute the digital commerce roadmap.

  • Lead digital growth initiatives across acquisition, retention, conversion optimization, customer experience, and profitability.

  • Direct digital marketing strategies in partnership with internal teams and external agencies, including Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Display, Email Marketing, and emerging digital channels.

  • Oversee site merchandising, promotional calendars, content strategy, product launches, and customer-facing experiences across digital platforms.

  • Analyze business performance using GA4, Power BI, and other reporting tools to identify trends, customer behavior, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Manage relationships with eCommerce technology providers, agencies, and third-party vendors to support continued business growth.

  • Collaborate with IT and Digital Product teams to prioritize website enhancements, platform improvements, and customer experience initiatives.

  • Develop executive reporting, dashboards, and business reviews highlighting KPIs, financial performance, customer insights, and strategic recommendations.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior to drive innovation across the digital business.

  • Lead and develop the eCommerce team while fostering collaboration across cross-functional business partners.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive eCommerce leadership experience.

  • Proven success developing and executing digital commerce strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end eCommerce operations, website infrastructure, customer journey, digital merchandising, and online marketing.

  • Experience managing enterprise eCommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus or similar content management systems preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing GA4, Power BI, and business intelligence reporting tools.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and project management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and lead cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment.

The pay range for this position is: $125,000 – $190,000 per year.
