The expected salary range for this position is $183,630.00 - $229,530.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview

This director serves as a key leader of the Digital Influencer Partnership function to direct the management of high-worth new or existing influencer relationships to meet Compassion's strategic and revenue/sponsorship goals. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction through subordinate managers and staff to manage a roster of digital influencers in order to maximize their value across full funnel, cross-channel KPIs to be co-created and shared with Marketing. This responsibility includes hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work to achieve global strategies and objectives. She or he collaborates with other senior leaders to execute campaigns, acquisition activities and brand activations, developing functional strategies in alignment with organizational strategies and priorities.

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

  • Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.

  • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors. 

  • Working through subordinate relationship managers, directs strategy development and prospecting efforts for the influencer partnership function. Provides direction and oversight regarding a large volume of high-impact partnerships that enable Compassion to maximize all possible opportunities. Further, strategically directs and leads plans which ensure long term retention and growth by maximizing the engagement of sponsors/donors and activities.

  • Leads a team of subordinate relationship managers to design and implement unique marketing activities based on the potential of complex, high-value partnerships. Further, provides direction and leadership over the negotiation of all influencer relationship contract agreements, goal setting, and achieving return on Compassion's investment goals for this large team.

  • Working through subordinate staff, leads a large team of managers building strategic relationships within new and existing channels, building a strong, growing network of key, high-level relationships to maintain the highest visibility for Compassion to meet revenue goals. Directs strategy and development of unique growth opportunities within established channels and innovatively seeks out opportunities in emerging channels.

  • Provides direction and oversight to the execution of delivering personal and highly customized communication through telephone, personal visits, and correspondence with relationships for the purpose of training, coaching and motivating channel relationships to further engagement and secure revenue across all Compassion product lines.

  • At a high level, casts the vision for involvement in Compassion's ministry to high-profile, high-value individuals and other representatives and leaders. May serve as leader on Compassion tours and project visits, meetings, and special events to further engage constituents with Compassion's mission and programs.

  • Frequently speaks on behalf of Compassion or children in need to a variety of prospective and current high-level/major donor constituent audiences. Further, targets message accordingly and draws upon in-depth knowledge of Compassion's full breadth of new and existing products.

  • This director provides leadership and development to direct reports and fosters an environment of professional growth, in alignment with compassion’s strategies and objectives. Consults with peer management and senior leaders to successfully align departmental resources and priorities across Compassion. If managing direct reports, further selects, manages and develops assigned staff, establishing goals and objectives, coaching and managing performance, including discipline, motivation, and annual reviews.

  • Compiles or prepares and administers the annual budget and departmental expenses, ensuring accountability for on-time completion of deliverables based on department objectives, SLAs, and other Compassion standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and board policies.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

  • Fifteen years Relevant experience working in this or a related field.

Yes, you may be required to travel up to 30% of normal schedule.
