About the role:

Are you passionate about data-driven decision-making and cutting-edge AI solutions? As Director Data Science & AI, you will shape and drive our AI strategy, leading high-performing teams of data scientists and AI/ML engineers. You will define how we leverage machine learning and AI to enhance customer experiences, optimize operations, and fuel business growth. About your tasks:

• Define and execute the AI and data science strategy, aligning it with business goals.
• Lead and develop teams of data scientists, ML, and AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Drive the development of AI-powered solutions to improve customer experience and optimize internal processes.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and governance of AI models in production.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Keep up with the latest advancements in AI and data science, ensuring Redcare Pharmacy remains at the forefront of innovation.

About you:

• MSc/ Ph.D. in Data Science, (Business) Analytics, Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, Physics, (Industrial) Engineering or related natural sciences / technical degree.
• At least 7 years of extensive experience in data science, AI, and machine learning, including leading teams in this space.
• 5+ years of experience as a people manager forming high-performing teams in the area of Data Science, ML, and AI.
• You showcase a track record of effectively leading strategic data science & AI projects, managing diverse teams and stakeholders, resulting in successful outcomes.
• Proven ability to define AI strategies and deliver impactful solutions.
• Experience in building AI-driven products and managing end-to-end ML pipelines.
• A strong communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into business value.
