Charter Manufacturing is seeking a visionary Director of Data & Analytics to lead our enterprise data and analytics agenda, moving our strategy from vision to execution. This leader will champion the transformation of how Charter uses data, driving the implementation of our multi-year Data Strategy and building scalable data and analytics capabilities that empower smarter, faster decision-making across every part of our business.
In this highly visible role, you will lead a talented team spanning enterprise reporting, data management, data architecture, and analytics enablement. You’ll work side by side with business and functional leaders to unlock the value of data all while fostering collaboration, innovation, and trust across the organization.
Position Specifics
- This leadership position sits in Mequon, WI and is a hybrid position (mandatory 3 days onsite)
- You will report to our Chief Information and Digital Officer at Charter Manufacturing
What You’ll Do
- Lead Charter’s enterprise Data Strategy: You will be translating strategic priorities into actionable programs that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Build and evolve the Data Office by establishing governance models, stewardship processes, and standards that strengthen data ownership and trust.
- Partner with business and digital leaders to align architecture, integration, and analytics platforms to enterprise goals.
- Drive data quality, accessibility, and consistency, enabling a trusted single source of truth across key domains.
- Advance analytics maturity, enabling predictive insights, automation, and AI-powered decision-making.
- Champion a culture of data, increasing data literacy and embedding data-driven thinking throughout the organization.
- Develop and empower a high-performing team of engineers, analysts, and data professionals while fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on leveraging data for digital transformation and operational excellence.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data and analytics, including 5+ years leading enterprise data teams or programs.
- Proven success implementing data governance, architecture, and analytics initiatives at scale.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational change.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills — connecting technical insight to business value.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or Information Management.
- Experience establishing or leading a Data Office or Center of Excellence (COE).
- Familiarity with modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, MDM, AI/ML frameworks).
- Proven experience partnering with Digital, Finance, or Operations teams to deliver data-driven transformation.
- Success building enterprise-wide data literacy or enablement programs.
- Knowledge of change management principles and organizational enablement.
