We are seeking an experienced consulting professional with strong expertise in cybersecurity and risk management. This role is client-facing and serves as a subject matter expert, leading strategic cybersecurity engagements across Europe to support business transformation and grow Mastercard’s consulting presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and deliver large-scale cybersecurity consulting engagements, leveraging Mastercard’s Cyber solutions and managing project economics, timelines, and client relationships.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and transformation programs for regional and global clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating business objectives into actionable cyber risk solutions.
• Drive consultative sales and account growth through strategic relationship management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global product leads to refine offerings and identify new opportunities.
• Represent Mastercard as a thought leader in cybersecurity, contributing to industry positioning and innovation.
Required Expertise:
• Proven track record in cybersecurity consulting within financial services (banking, acquiring, fintech, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (DORA, NIS2, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, MAS, GLBA, NY DFS) and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, COSO, PCI).
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide cyber risk governance frameworks and threat models.
• Ability to assess and mitigate business risks, design controls, and develop incident response and resiliency plans.
• Skilled in data analytics and business intelligence tools for cyber risk reporting.
• Strong project management capabilities, including budget oversight and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, CEH, Security+, GSEC (one or more preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in payments, retail banking, or merchant services is a plus.
