Job Title: Manager, Creative

A little bit about our team:

The Creative Department at Atlantic Music Group operates as a full-service, agency-like team within the label, uniquely dedicated to building and sustaining artist careers at the intersection of art, video, branding, music, digital innovation, and technology. Unlike any other department in the industry, we act as true creative partners to our artists, ensuring every visual and creative touchpoint reflects and amplifies their individual voice.

Our work spans every dimension of an artist’s career: music videos, photography, touring visuals, merchandise, digital and social campaigns, advertising, and beyond. We collaborate closely with artists, managers, and marketing teams to shape, narrate, and bring to life the world that defines each artist’s vision: delivering creative assets that not only brand and identify them but also connect deeply with audiences across platforms.

At the core of our structure is the Creative Lead. Each artist is paired with a dedicated Lead who serves as their primary partner and point of contact for all things creative. The Creative Lead is responsible for guiding branding, shaping visual strategy, and overseeing the execution of deliverables across every medium. Acting as both strategist and collaborator, they ensure that every campaign and asset is cohesive, intentional, and true to the artist’s vision. As the bridge between the artist and the broader label, Creative Leads streamline the process while providing a highly personalized, artist-first approach.

Together, this model allows Atlantic Music Group’s Creative Department to function less like a traditional label division and more like a forward-thinking creative agency. By combining innovation with a deep understanding of artistry, we are able to foster long-term growth, elevate creative expression, and deliver culturally impactful campaigns that extend far beyond music.

Your role:

We’re seeking a versatile, visionary creative to own the full spectrum of visual and brand expression for a recording artist. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your ideas will shape the artist’s identity and presence across every platform. You’ll be the go-to creative, turning concepts into daily content and managing projects from shoot to final delivery, all while keeping an eye on budgets.

As the Manager, Creative, you are the visionary leader of the creative process, driving the conceptualization and execution of all visual language for our artists. This role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic leadership, and hands-on production expertise. You will not only manage high-level relationships and negotiations but also provide critical oversight on set to ensure creative integrity and problem-solve production challenges in real time.

Here you’ll get to:
  • Develop and execute the artist’s brand identity, ensuring it’s consistent, authentic, and visually striking across all channels.
  • Generate fresh content ideas daily to engage fans and grow the artist’s presence in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
  • Conceptualize, commission, and oversee photoshoots, video shoots, graphics, and social media content, ensuring everything aligns with the artist’s vision.
  • Manage creative projects from concept to delivery, keeping timelines and budgets in check without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborate directly with the artist and management to translate ideas into compelling creative assets.
  • Serve as the central creative point of contact, coordinating across teams and vendors to bring ideas to life.
  • Stay ahead of trends in music, culture, and digital storytelling to continually evolve the artist’s creative direction.
  • Provide expertise to resolve any production-related challenges and ensure smooth operations across all mediums of the creative process.
About you:
  • You have at least 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in commissioning and directing photo and video shoots.
  • You have proven experience in creative direction, brand development, or content production—experience in music or entertainment is a plus.
  • You have exceptional visual storytelling skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • You have experience commissioning shoots and managing creative projects within budgets.
  • You are comfortable generating high volumes of creative ideas in a fast-moving, digital-first environment.
  • You have strong collaboration and communication skills, able to work closely with artists and management.
  • You have a passion for music, culture, and helping artists define and amplify their unique voice.
  • You have impeccable taste and are resourceful.
We’d love it if you also had:
  • A team player mindset.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of all production and post-production processes, formats, and techniques.
