Nexstar Media Group is seeking a Director of Engineering, RF Systems. This position will install, document and support projects and systems related to the RF distribution of television broadcast signals. This will include television transmitters and microwave relay systems as well as associated IP-based transport and control systems. Other duties include assistance with installation and support of all types of television broadcast equipment and systems as needed.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in an RF related field. Must have familiarity with the installation and design of television transmitters, broadcast microwave systems, transmitter remote control systems and general RF principles. A background in IT related skills including basic network configuration is preferred.
Good project management and communication skills required. Must be able to travel on a regular basis.
This position will report to the Sr. Director of Engineering RF Systems.
