Position Summary

The Director, Corporate Accounts - Solutions Circle - Sales is responsible for developing and executing the strategic sales vision for the Corporate Accounts business across North America. This role leads the Medical, Industrial, and Dental (SSW) sales teams, driving sustainable revenue growth, market penetration, customer retention, and profitability across key corporate and strategic accounts.

As a member of the Sales Leadership Team, the Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners to align commercial strategies with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will provide inspirational leadership, foster a culture of accountability and performance, and ensure exceptional customer engagement across all business segments.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the North America Corporate Accounts sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Establish annual and long-term sales plans, revenue targets, and key performance indicators across Medical, Industrial, and Dental (SSW) businesses.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging industry trends to inform strategic direction.
  • Partner with the President, North America and Sales Leadership Team to shape commercial priorities and business initiatives.

Sales Performance & Growth

  • Drive attainment of revenue, profitability, and market share objectives across all assigned business units – weekly and monthly.
  • Oversee strategic account planning and customer engagement activities to strengthen and profitably growth relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts, pricing agreements, and enterprise account opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Identify and implement initiatives that improve sales effectiveness, customer acquisition, and customer retention.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales leaders and teams within the Medical, Industrial, and Dental organizations.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear expectations and performance objectives while providing ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development to strengthen organizational capability.
  • Customer & Market Leadership
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key corporate accounts and strategic customer relationships.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer needs, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify growth opportunities and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer events, and key business meetings.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Solutions Management, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and execution of business priorities.
  • Support product launches, strategic initiatives, and customer-specific programs.
  • Drive effective communication and collaboration across business units to optimize customer outcomes.
  • Participate in annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business review processes.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze business metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and business performance.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including responsibility for strategic or corporate accounts in dental or medical device industries
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple sales teams or business segments within a complex B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth and business results.
  • Experience managing large strategic customer relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Experience leading organizational change and developing high-performing teams.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel throughout US and Canada as required to support customers, sales teams, and business objectives (approximately 30-50%).
