How will you make an impact?
- Communication Strategy: Develops and executes a strong communications and content strategy, positioning Thermo Fisher as a top CDMO in the industry
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Leads market insights and brings perspective to competitive intelligence, while exercising oversight of the Market Intelligence team and their work with key stakeholders
- Content Leadership: Shapes Thermo Fisher’s CDMO thought leadership and voice; develops high-value content marketing strategies that demonstrate our technical acumen, expertise and SME’s
- Leadership: Provides leadership and guidance to their team and ensures high performance
- Strong Collaboration: Team-first mindset when partnering within the Marketing Team, with key stakeholders (leadership, PR team, SME’s, divisions, etc), and externally with agencies, media and vendors
- Media Strategy: Leverage deep understanding of CDMO trade media to create opportunities for Thermo Fisher thought leadership and positioning in the market while aligning closely with PR/Communications to support earned media opportunities

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or marketing strongly preferred
Experience
- 10-15 years of communications/content experience, required
- CDMO experience, required
- Strong team player
- Strong writing skills
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Industry Expertise: Deep experience in the CDMO industry and of the overall drug development process, from early phase through commercialization
- Content Strategy: Expert at creating and shaping content to drive a leadership position in top CDMO journals and publications through paid and earned media
- Content & Communications: Ability to translate complex technical information into compelling messages and relevant content for biotech and biopharma content
- Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of the CDMO market and business acumen regarding marketing’s role to position and differentiate Thermo Fisher in the market
- Leadership & Influence: Experience leading teams or driving initiatives cross-functionally and without direct authority
- Agency Acumen: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions, and driving teams to deliver high quality work in compressed timelines

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $170,000.00–$220,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
