We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director, Compression Technologies Iberia to lead our country business unit’s Sales and Service operations. This role carries full P&L responsibility and is critical in driving profitable growth, enhancing market reach, and delivering exceptional customer value.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Lead and manage the Iberia Compression Technologies business, with full ownership of Sales and Service P&L performance
- Drive country-level sales and service activities, ensuring effective resource allocation and prioritization aligned with strategic objectives
- Deliver sustainable, profitable growth while expanding market presence and increasing installed base coverage
- Define, monitor, and achieve sales targets, gross margin goals, and KPIs
- Implement a cohesive route-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with divisional direction and fostering a “one face to the customer” approach
- Establish pricing frameworks, discount policies, and commercial conditions for products and services
- Build and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and supporting key account management
- Oversee the full offer management lifecycle, from scope definition and technical detailing to pricing, delivery, and post-sales support, including spare parts and service
- Collaborate with product development teams, providing market insights and customer feedback to enhance the portfolio
- Support product implementation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile / Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within a Sales and Service environment. Experience in the refrigeration industry is highly valued.
- Proven track record managing sales organizations within matrix structures
- Strong expertise in sales and service processes and tools (pricing, CRM, order management)
- Demonstrated experience in change management and transformation initiatives
- Excellent negotiation skills with strong customer-facing experience
- Solid understanding of financial principles, P&L management, and performance tracking
- Proficiency in English; local language fluency preferred
- Strong commercial and customer-oriented mindset with deep understanding of customer needs
- Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented, problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels
- Collaborative team player with strong networking abilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive business growth
- Proven leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams
