Position Overview
Immunome is building the commercial systems and data capabilities required to prepare for launch and scale a high-performing, efficient commercial organization. The Director, Commercial Systems and Data will own the strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Commercial and Field Medical CRM, data aggregation/data lake integration, and the dashboards, KPI tracking, and standardized reporting required to enable clarity, performance management, compliance, insights, and rapid decision-making. This leader will build a unified commercial data ecosystem grounded in accuracy, usability, compliance, predictable insights, and transparent performance—while establishing cross-functional governance, data standards, and scalable field training to drive adoption and sustained value.
Key deliverables include CRM architecture and workflow governance with an enhancement roadmap; unified commercial data vision and strategy; data aggregator implementation and day-to-day operations; data alerts; role-based CRM and analytics training; and commercial data governance strategy and SOPs.
Responsibilities
Commercial Data Vision & Strategy
- Develop and implement a unified commercial data vision and strategy that enables clear performance management, compliant execution, and rapid decision-making across Sales, Marketing Operations, and Field Medical.
- Define the target-state commercial data ecosystem (CRM, data aggregation, reporting/visualization, governance) and build a scalable roadmap aligned to launch milestones and growth.
- Translate commercial priorities into actionable system requirements, metric definitions, and data products that drive field execution and leadership visibility.
Commercial & Medical CRM Leadership (Administration, Architecture, and Governance)
- Own Commercial and Field Medical CRM capabilities end-to-end, including architecture, configuration, workflows, data model, user experience, and ongoing enhancements.
- Establish CRM workflow governance, enhancement intake/prioritization, change control, release management, documentation, and communication practices.
- Drive CRM data hygiene standards and operating routines (e.g., account/HCP maintenance, activity capture expectations, required fields, and quality controls).
- Partner with Sales, Marketing Operations, and Field Medical leadership to ensure CRM supports core field workflows and evolves with business needs.
- Ensure appropriate role-based access, auditability, and compliant use of data and workflows in partnership with Legal/Regulatory/Compliance and Medical Affairs (as applicable).
Data Aggregator Implementation, Integration, and Day-to-Day Operations
- Lead the implementation, build, and ongoing day-to-day operations of the commercial data aggregator and its integration into the commercial data lake.
- Oversee master data management (MDM) and identity resolution processes that enable trusted HCP/HCO and account hierarchies, including ongoing stewardship and issue resolution.
- Establish data quality monitoring, exception handling, refresh cadences, and service-level performance expectations with vendors/partners.
- Ensure stable integrations and data flows between CRM, third-party sources, and reporting/analytics platforms to support consistent commercial reporting.
Dashboards, KPI Tracking & Standardized Reporting
- Deliver dashboards, KPI tracking, and standardized reporting for systems and workflows supported by this role, ensuring alignment to overall commercial reporting and performance rhythms.
- Define and maintain metric logic, reporting definitions, and data dictionaries to ensure consistency and reduce ambiguity across teams.
- Implement data alerts and proactive insights (e.g., exceptions, data quality flags, performance signals) to accelerate action and improve operational control.
Commercial Data Governance, SOPs, and Cross-Functional Operating Model
- Establish and maintain commercial data governance strategy, SOPs, and an operating model that enables cross-functional decision-making for systems, workflows, and data standards.
- Create and lead cross-functional governance forums and routines (e.g., intake, prioritization, data standards, and issue management) to ensure alignment and disciplined execution.
- Ensure accuracy, usability, and compliance across the commercial data ecosystem, including appropriate controls for data access, privacy, and documentation.
Field Training, Enablement, and Adoption
- Design, deliver, and evolve role-based field training for CRM including onboarding and ongoing reinforcement.
- Develop scalable training materials, job aids, SOPs, and workflows that improve adoption, consistency, and field effectiveness.
- Partner closely with Commercial Enablement/Training, Sales Leadership, Marketing Operations, and Field Medical leadership to align training to execution needs and governance requirements.
Commercial Systems & Data Oversight, Vendor Management, and Budget Ownership
- Provide oversight for commercial systems and data vendors/partners, including scope definition, implementation governance, performance management, and day-to-day coordination.
- Manage budgets, contracts/scopes of work, timelines, risks, and dependencies for CRM, data aggregator, reporting/visualization, and related services.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve scalability, and strengthen governance through process redesign and technology enablement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or related).
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical commercial operations, commercial systems (CRM), data platforms/analytics, and/or related functions.
- Proven experience administering and governing Commercial and/or Field Medical CRM (including data hygiene, workflows, change control, and enhancement roadmaps).
- Experience implementing and operating a data aggregator and/or commercial data lake integration, including master data management (MDM) concepts and practices.
- A strong track record of delivering dashboards, KPI tracking, and standardized reporting tied to commercial performance management.
- Experience building cross-functional governance models, SOPs, and operating rhythms for systems and data.
- Strong field enablement orientation, including experience designing and delivering role-based training to drive adoption and consistent execution.
- Strong project/program management skills with demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity in a high-growth or launch-ready environment.
- Vendor and budget management experience; comfort managing multiple workstreams, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience partnering with Legal/Regulatory/Compliance and Medical Affairs to ensure compliant system and data practices
