The Director of Commercial AI & Advanced Analytics will lead the transformative AI products and strategies within our Innovative Medicine portfolio. Purpose:

As Director, you’ll lead a team of over 20 passionate professionals to design and deliver AI products that address complex commercial needs across multiple portfolios. You will directly influence growth, spark innovation, and help redefine our commercial strategy using advanced analytics tools and approaches. Your leadership will position AI as a cornerstone of transformative decision-making.

You will be responsible for:

You’ll hold a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Accelerating Innovation: Lead the development of groundbreaking AI products that balance speed, technology, and business impact, while ensuring business impact across our commercial portfolio.

• Building the Best Teams: Cultivate, inspire, and grow world-class data science talent. Your mentoring will develop a team of future leaders in AI and advanced analytics!

• Driving Thought Leadership: Provide guidance on AI methods, algorithms, model development, validation, and tools. Become the go-to expert in enhancing our decision-making process.

• Creating Seamless Collaboration: Manage relationships across internal teams (sales, patient, medical, etc.) and external vendors to ensure the customer experience is unified and impactful.

• Turning Ideas into Reality: Partner with leadership to identify key opportunities, shape strategies, and deliver actionable AI products and insights.

• Nurturing a Credo-based Culture: Build a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic environment that fuels innovation, retains top talent, and encourages continuous improvement.

We’re looking for a creative problem-solver ready to empower others, tackle complex analytics challenges, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).

• Experience: At least 9 years of hands-on experience in analytics, consulting, or a related field, with a proven ability to drive commercial results through innovation and change.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams, mentoring talent, managing large budgets, and navigating complex organizations.

• Collaboration: Exceptional ability to build relationships, influence perspectives, and work seamlessly across departments and levels.

• Technical Expertise: A strong command of AI tools and techniques, including regression, classification, NLP, LLMs, AI Agents, hypothesis testing, and promotional response modeling.

• Product approach with excellent communication skills, impact orientation, entrepreneurial drive and ability to influence & partner at all levels of the organization

• Pharma Knowledge:Industry commercial expertise, including domain-specific datasets like sales and patient-level data, is preferred.

Other Details

• This position will require up to 15% domestic travel.
