Job Purpose and Impact
The Director, Collaboration job leads the execution of the tactical and strategic plans of the organization's infrastructure initiatives to sustain optimal performance, security and scalability. This job leads and guides the team responsible for monitoring and maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing robust security measures. This job builds and maintains vendor relationships, fosters cross functional collaboration, oversees project management and resource allocation, and leads continuous improvement and innovation in technology operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive collaboration strategy aligned with organizational goals while identifying emerging trends and technologies to enhance collaboration capabilities.
- Manages the information technology infrastructure budget to ensure cost effective solutions and validates expenditures to align with financial goals.
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Oversees and guides continuous monitoring and maintenance of enterprise collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Slack).
- Guides the implementation of security protocols to protect information technology infrastructure from threats and maintain compliance with relevant regulations while ensuring governance, security, and complaince standards are met across platforms.
- Guides and reviews the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure data integrity and availability in case of emergencies.
- Pairtner with IT and business units to integrate collaboration tools with other enterprise systems while exploring automation and AI-driven enhancements for productivity.
- Leads the identification and engagement with key internal and external stakeholders, understanding their needs and enabling effective communication to assure project alignment and success.
- Lead a team of colleboration specialists and engineers and foster a culutre of innovation, agility, and customer-centricity.
- Drive adotpion through training, communication, and change management programs while gathering feedback and continuously improve collaboration experiences.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for collaboration effectiveness and report progress to senior leadership. Monitor usage patterns and optimize licensing and costs.

- Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
- Up to 15% travel

- Supervisory experience
- Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Slack
