Vitality Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Clinical Operations (RN) to lead our growing clinical team. Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight of all direct and indirect patient care services delivered by the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Team Coordinator to ensure high-quality patient care and positive patient outcomes.
- Lead interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings, facilitating care plan discussions, problem-solving, and team collaboration.
- Recruit, hire, supervise, mentor, and evaluate clinical team members.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, Medicare, accreditation, and agency standards.
- Partner with the Compliance Department to identify educational needs and implement staff training initiatives.
- Conduct regular visits to contracted facilities to maintain strong relationships and provide education and support.
- Monitor operational expenses, including payroll, supply costs, mileage reimbursement, and budget-related expenditures.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of clinical excellence.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, end-of-life care, symptom management, and interdisciplinary care planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively support staff while providing exceptional service to patients and families.
- Previous hospice leadership or management experience.
- Experience overseeing interdisciplinary clinical teams.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional after-hours support as needed for clinical operations.
