The Director of Business Systems Analysis will serve as a key leader driving a business-first strategy to enable successful execution of complex programs across claims and enterprise platforms. This role will focus on deeply understanding business objectives, processes, and systems, and ensuring that technology solutions are clearly aligned to deliver measurable business outcomes.
This leader will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams by translating business intent into structured, actionable inputs for execution. The Director will play a critical role in ensuring that programs are delivered successfully by minimizing gaps, driving alignment, and enabling scalable, efficient solutions across domains.
As a senior member of the Business Systems Analysis leadership team, this individual will provide strategic oversight across business, product, engineering, and operations. They will ensure clarity of requirements, consistency in execution, and alignment of technology delivery with business priorities. The Director will act as a trusted advisor to both business and technology leaders, influencing decisions through strong domain understanding, structured thinking, and effective communication.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead with a business-first approach, ensuring business priorities and objectives are clearly defined and reflected in all technology initiatives
- Develop deep understanding of business processes, systems, and operational workflows across claims and enterprise platforms
- Partner with business leaders to define program objectives, use cases, success metrics, and transformation opportunities
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured, and actionable inputs for technology teams
- Ensure alignment between business intent and technology execution across all phases of program delivery
- Continuously validate that solutions meet business expectations and deliver measurable value
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and proactively drive resolution
- Build comprehensive knowledge of existing systems, integrations, and workflows to inform solution design
- Identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and automation across business processes
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with long-term business and system strategy
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, data, and platform teams to ensure clear understanding of business requirements
- Drive strong collaboration across business, operations, and technology teams to enable seamless execution
- Remove ambiguity and reduce friction in program delivery
- Drive structured problem-solving, prioritization, and use case development across programs
- Contribute to defining roadmaps for business systems transformation and automation initiatives
- Ensure outcomes are aligned with business value and strategic goals
- Provide governance across program lifecycle including requirements validation, solution alignment, and delivery oversight
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, decision-making, and alignment across senior leadership
- Present business-aligned insights, recommendations, and trade-offs in a clear and concise manner
- Mentor teams in business analysis best practices, structured thinking, and stakeholder engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, driving alignment and informed decision-making

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Program Management, or related roles
- 6+ years of experience working at the intersection of business and technology in large-scale enterprise environments
- 6+ years of a proven record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs with measurable business outcomes
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise systems, business workflows, and transformation initiatives
- Experience translating business needs into successful technology execution
- Proven solid stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in healthcare, claims, or payer domain
- Experience working with AI/automation-driven transformation programs
- Proven solid exposure to claims adjudication, operations, or automation initiatives

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 - $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
