About the Opportunity
The IS Business Relationship Director (ISBRD) for DOTA will be responsible for overseeing and cultivating strong, long-term relationships and effective collaboration with DOTA business partners to drive alignment between business needs and technology services as critical enablers of the business unit success. This Director will work closely with the internal Global IS team to develop and implement strategies that advance DOTA business objectives, user experience and support the growth of Driscoll’s. The DOTA ISBRD will also function as the Finance BRM for both DOTA and Global Finance until such time as the volume of work warrants dedicated BRM resource. Based in Guadalajara, this role will function as important point of escalation and support for local business leadership and/or Global IS team members as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development of relationships with key clients to develop roadmap of technology services and prioritized portfolio of technology projects aligned with DOTA business unit strategy and goals.
- Anticipate DOTA business needs, identify potential challenges, and proactively address them to maintain strong business partnership
- Act as point of contact for business partners, helping drive resolution to any issues, facilitating discussions and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Work with business unit leadership team on development of the business case for any new technology investments.
- Work in collaboration with the Global IS team to understand and adhere to Global IS strategies, standards, and policies
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of relationship managers. Set clear SMART performance goals, and regularly assess progress against these goals. Foster culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
- Drive maturity in BRM Practice including standard routines, frameworks, and KPIs
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer science, Business Administration or Engineering
- Outstanding professional English skills required at an advanced proficiency level
- Proven track-record of managing high-value client relationships
- Experience in leading teams with strong focus on mentorship, development, and performance management
- 15-20 years of working in IS environment as Business Relationship Management, Business Consultant, Project Manager or Business Analyst.
- Previous experience working in global or multi-national company
- 7-10 years management experience
- Comfortable with matrix management and dual reporting responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of IS Applications like ERP (Oracle/Netsuite), Infrastructure & Systems Architecture
- Comprehensive knowledge of IS infrastructure, Applications, Telecommunications and Project Management methodologies. Should have worked with broad range of diverse stakeholders.
