About The Opportunity

We are hiring a Director to help run and scale our streaming, direct-to-consumer, and audience network business across FAST channels, CTV advertising, and subscription products.

This role serves as the primary financial and analytical owner of the business, using a strong finance foundation to inform revenue operations, business intelligence, and go-to-market decisions across growth and marketing. It sits at the intersection of finance, ad tech, analytics, and commercial execution, and works closely with senior leadership on how performance is measured, understood, and acted on.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership. You will translate complex platform and ad tech data into financially reliable reporting, ensure revenue is billed and collected accurately, and help guide decisions related to monetization, distribution, marketing, and growth.

You will work closely with partners across Ad Sales, Programmatic & Revenue Partnerships, Ad Tech, Finance, Accounting, Distribution, Product, Growth, Marketing, and Content.

The Impact You Will Make

Finance-Led Revenue Operations

  • Own revenue operations across ad-supported streaming (FAST / CTV) and subscription businesses, with accountability for accuracy, consistency, and reliability

  • Own financial models and operating forecasts that connect ad delivery, revenue recognition, margin, and cash, and use them to inform commercial and distribution decisions

  • Develop a working understanding of the ad tech stack (ad servers, SSPs, measurement, reconciliation) and how data flows from delivery to billing to cash

  • Translate platform, ad tech, and distributor data into finance- and accounting-ready reporting, including gross vs. net revenue, TAC, partner payouts, and recognized revenue

  • Serve as the primary bridge between Ad Tech, Ad Sales, Programmatic & Revenue Partnerships, Finance, and Accounting on revenue and performance questions

Billing, Invoicing & Cash Management

  • Approve ad revenue, distribution, and partner invoices

  • Oversee partner reporting, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution

  • Track accounts receivable, identify risk, and follow up on late or missing payments

  • Support clean and predictable month-end and quarter-end close processes

Business Intelligence & Go-to-Market Insights

  • Own core KPIs and dashboards across FAST, CTV advertising, subscriptions, and audience growth

  • Build financially grounded reporting that connects delivery, revenue, margin, cash, and audience outcomes

  • Partner with Marketing and Growth leadership to define success metrics and evaluate brand, audience, and subscription initiatives

  • Support Growth with subscription funnel analysis, unit economics, and retention insights

  • Translate ambiguous marketing, audience, and platform signals into clear business implications for leadership

Distribution & Partner Operations

  • Own select distributor and platform relationships from an operational and analytical standpoint

  • Support negotiation and ongoing management of FAST channel carriage and distribution terms

  • Monitor platform performance, marketing commitments, and monetization outcomes

  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure strong execution across content, sales, marketing, and product

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5–9 years of relevant experience

  • Strong financial foundation (modeling, forecasting, revenue economics)

  • Comfortable owning financial narratives, not just producing analysis

  • Working knowledge of CTV advertising and/or FAST distribution

  • Willingness to engage with ad tech details to support billing, reporting, and accounting

  • Experience working closely with Finance and Accounting teams

  • Clear communicator who can translate complexity across technical, commercial, and executive audiences

  • Ambitious, curious, and motivated to take on increasing responsibility

  • We are open to multiple backgrounds. The common thread is strong financial judgment, analytical rigor, and interest in applying finance to real-world business decisions. You may come from: 1) Finance, FP&A, strategy, or consulting roles with exposure to media, technology, or consumer businesses 2) Content licensing, FAST operations, or distribution roles with strong financial ownership or 3) Programmatic advertising or ad tech roles with deep commercial and analytical experience

Got These? Even Better

  • MBA or equivalent business training

  • Experience supporting or negotiating commercial or distribution deals

  • Familiarity with subscription metrics (LTV, CAC, churn)

  • Experience operating in fast-moving or ambiguous environments
