Hansen Cold Storage, part of the IR Pros family of companies, is seeking an accomplished Director of Business Operations to lead our next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role not one focused on maintaining the status quo. You'll evaluate how we operate, build scalable processes, and bring greater visibility and accountability across the organization, working closely with executive leadership to connect strategy, people, financial performance, and day-to-day execution.

What You'll Own- Lead the development and execution of operational strategies that support Hansen's business and growth objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate company goals into actionable operating plans.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, budgets, forecasts, productivity measures, and operational performance metrics.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve profitability and execution.
- Develop scalable processes, workflows, SOPs, and accountability systems across the organization.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, construction/project management, service, finance, procurement, HR, and other business functions.
- Lead and mentor department leaders while establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
- Evaluate organizational structure, staffing needs, and resources as the business continues to grow.
- Improve communication and coordination between field operations and corporate/business functions.
- Leverage technology, automation, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Oversee key vendor and partner relationships and support contract negotiations where appropriate.
- Identify operational and financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide executive leadership with clear reporting, insights, and recommendations regarding business performance.
- Lead major operational initiatives and change-management efforts from strategy through implementation.

- 7+ years of progressive operations or business leadership experience, including responsibility for teams, budgets, and business performance.
- Demonstrated experience leading managers and cross-functional organizations.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, margins, and operational performance.
- Proven ability to identify operational challenges and implement measurable improvements.
- Experience building processes and operating structures within a growing or changing organization.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both senior leadership and frontline teams.
- Experience with ERP/business systems, operational reporting, and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; equivalent leadership experience may also be considered.
Experience in industrial refrigeration, mechanical contracting, HVAC/R, construction, cold storage, food processing, industrial services, or another field-service-driven organization is highly desirable.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in operations or related roles
- Leadership experience managing teams and complex projects
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- MBA
- Bilingual Spanish-English communication skills
- Experience in construction management and logistics
- Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP certification
- Experience with organizational change management
