Core responsibilities

Qualifications and skills
- Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in business-level Japanese to communicate effectively with local clients and an excellent command of English for internal collaboration with global teams.
- Cultural knowledge: A deep understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette, and communication styles is essential for building rapport and navigating business relationships.
- Industry knowledge: Expertise in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry is highly preferred. Candidates must quickly learn about PPD's drug discovery, development, and lifecycle management services.
- Sales and communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for building relationships and presenting information clearly. The role requires being highly motivated and target-driven.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, or lead generation is often required, particularly for a senior role.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with sales enablement tools, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and an interest in SaaS or technology solutions is valuable.
