When you work as a Director of Business Development at KCAS Bio, you get to further our mission by partnering with new and existing customers to help them better understand our bioanalytical and biomarker services, and next generation therapies.
This position is a mid to senior level position as a Business Development Director handling their assigned territory. The main responsibility is to deploy the company commercial strategy in the assign area, resulting in the achievement of the company revenue objectives.
This will be a fully remote position. Ideally, we would like this person to sit in France but are open to candidates who sit anywhere in the EU.
In this role, we will rely on you to:
- Develop new business by engaging in pro-active prospection activities (cold calls, emails etc.)
- Qualify and secure leads
- Identify sales opportunities consistent with the company portfolio of services
- Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with new and potential customers within assigned territory
- Develop, maintain, and extend relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business, and additional account growth
- Represent the organization at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences as needed to maintain visibility and market awareness
- Support the company brand in all interactions, including being a positive brand ambassador
- Collect in the most accurate possible way the prospects/clients’ needs and communicate internally for proposal generation in collaboration with contracts/client services team
- Ensure the correct transmission of the information to the operational team
- Follow-up on opportunities until closure
- Reports accurately and every week his/her activities into the CRM system
- Organize client visits and audits in collaboration with the related teams
- Frequent traveling rate (40-50%)
To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:
- University degree (Master equivalent) in biological science related fields
- Prior sales experience in the biotech industry (minimum 3 years)
- Prior experience in the bioanalysis for clinical trials is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and French
- The ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- The ability to be a quick thinker, communicator, and the creativity to find solutions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Results oriented, productive and enthusiast
- A team player mentality
- The ability to work remotely without daily supervision
- An open-mind and an honest mindset that assumes his/her responsibilities
