Director, Brand & Solutions Marketing (Commercial)

​​The Director, Brand and Solutions Marketing, is responsible for leading the overall development, management, and execution of brand and solutions strategies for the given business unit. This role leads a team to understand and action customer/audience needs and drivers, develops go-to-market plans to drive B2B adoption across multiple commercial and institutional channels and segments and develops and manages compelling value proposition stories and content for large portfolios of brands, and leading New Product Development (NPD) commercialization activities to meet business case timeline deliverables. The position closely collaborates with the Channel and Digital Marketing organization, cross functional Business Unit leadership team, and Product Management.​

What You Will Do:

  • ​​Lead overarching market and channel research strategy and touchpoints, while identifying and coordinating specific research needs for assigned areas/programs.  

  • ​Drive multi-brand positioning and experience strategy development and evolution in partnership with Product director. 

  • ​Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.  Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. 

  • ​Create, lead and drive NPD Commercialization for given categories for flawless launch, meeting business case and program objectives.    Provide leadership and strategy to the cross functional teams to ensure Key dates are met to drive NPD success 

  • ​Create and execute on annual marketing plans for product and solutions , including tools, assets, web, digital and other growth targets to support and meet overall business objectives 

  • ​Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and PPC.  Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve ROI. 

  • ​Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including website, blog, social media, print material, displays and email.  Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver programmatic marketing strategies that deliver high-quality content that resonates with our target audience. 

  • ​Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.  Use insights to refine strategies and improve overall performance. 

  • ​Manage the assigned marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.  Partner with business unit leadership as Sales Marketing teams for alignment of goals and priorities.  Evaluate and negotiate with vendors and service providers. 

  • ​Represent marketing and be an active member of business leadership team 

  • ​Interface with external agencies (as applicable)​ 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Product Management or associated discipline. 

  • ​10+ years of experience in brand or product management, or product marketing. 

  • ​Proven business strategy support skills and track record of supporting profitable growth. 

  • ​Demonstrated experience in areas of strategic planning, marketing, market research, brand positioning or management, brand preference research, promotions/advertising and execution of campaigns. 

  • ​Proven track record translating market and customer research to business strategy. 

  • ​Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices. 

  • ​Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions (Product Management, Sales, Channel and Digital Marketing, Program Management, Finance, etc.). 

  • ​Experience with both product launch (new introduction) and lifecycle management (sustaining/repositioning) 

  • ​Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools. 

  • ​Ability to communicate effectively at all levels; outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 

  • ​Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at once with great efficiency.  

  • ​Ability to travel up to 20%.​ 

  • Preference given to candidates living in Indianapolis, Indiana or willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience 

  • Knowledge of and experience in agency management. 

  • Experience with managing or owning a budget (sustaining or project) 

  • Experience with B2B products and categories 

  • Experience with a multi-brand structure supporting good/better/best portfolio positioning  

  • Proven experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector 

  • ​​5+ years in a leadership role 

  • ​Experience in multi-channel, multi-vertical companies, building products 

  • ​MBA ​

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $136,000-$200,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
