The Director of BD&L Biosimilars, International Region will identify suitable Biosimilar assets to in-license for the region including search, evaluation, trans actioning negotiations, and completing BD Deals. In addition, she / he will manage the regional Biosimilar Portfolio based on the country/regional needs. This role needs an energetic, collaborative person who can manage both internal and external stakeholders through the entire cycle of deal making process.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Scout for high quality Biosimilar assets as required Country/region
- Evaluate various options and shortlist best suitable options.
- Negotiate commercial terms with the Partner
- Interface with internal CFT and manage process for conducting DD of the selected projects
- Negotiate contracts with the selected partner and internal stakeholder functions
- Interact with countries in the region (LatAm, AME, APAC) to secure forecasts and wish lists
- Coordinate the Bio regional Portfolio workshop
- Maintain an updated database of various assets and companies and secure CI periodically
What you’ll bring to the role:
- University Degree in Science and/or Business, with MS or MBA advantageous.
- Fluency in English, other SIR market country languages are desirable
- Min 5 years Pharma industry experience, preferably in BD
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
