Position Overview:

The ARTD Business Development Lead drives growth and success of Coca-Cola's Alcohol Ready-to-Drink (ARTD) portfolio in Canada. This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to adapt brand strategies, manage commercialization, support supply chain execution, and lead new product launches across Canadian provincial markets.

This is a highly cross-functional role that requires excellent communication, influencing, commercial strategy and problem-solving skills with comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be based in Toronto, Canada.  

What You’ll Do for Us

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the relationship and drive results of our ARTD agent for our new Directed Model ARTD portfolio

  • Lead developing and managing routines and KBI’s with our full-service agent including selling to customers (Monopolies, Retail, FSOP) and Front-Line Marketing plans and execution

  • Lead adapting US ARTD brand and commercial strategy for the Canadian market through working closely with our ARTD agent

  • Partner with key stakeholders to lead Canada annual planning and ARTD Stages & Gates process for provincial marketplace innovation

  • Steward the Canada ARTD Long Range Ambition, aligning growth priorities with system integration pathway

  • Partner with Finance to plan and deliver on Annual Business Plan targets

  • Act as a liaison to NAOU Supply Chain, supporting connecting stakeholders including our ARTD Co-Manufacturer and Agent to strengthen forecasting and supply chain optimization by channel and province

  • Drive successful execution of new ARTD brand launches from planning through commercialization

  • Become the Canada ARTD Subject Matter Expert, building Canadian insights and identifying needs for market-specific initiatives where needed to lead developing Canada’s position as a top 6 global ARTD market and our ambition to become an ARTD leader

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other Graduate Degree Preferred

  • 5-10 Years of experience in the consumer goods/beverages industry; Alcohol industry experience preferred

  • Brand/category management experience working across retail channels

  • Ability to collaborate with brand/category/agent teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Proven track record of ability to not only embrace change, but to drive it and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Effectively communicates and builds relationships at all internal and external organizational levels; communicates long-term vision and shorter-term opportunities through clear and simple messages.

Canada: 151,000 CAD - 178,000 CAD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
