About the Role:
The Director, Analytics Execution will lead an adept team of analytics professionals, including business intelligence developers, data engineers, and technical experts, to develop and maintain class-leading data analytics products featuring dashboards, visualizations, predictive output, and key performance indicators. You will ensure the high performance of these technical resources and work collaboratively with a team of product managers to fulfill the Insights product roadmap. In addition to providing input from a technical feasibility and resource capacity perspective, you will influence the strategy and planning for future product development and enhancements. Through partnership with the Product team, you will deliver and launch products and enhancements that foster user adoption and customer retention while forwarding the mission of Unite Us as leaders in social care coordination and engagement.
The Director, Analytics Execution collaborates with executive and senior leadership across all business units to build trusted relationships, understand analytic requirements, and productize solutions to support both external and internal analytics needs in a scalable manner. You will also help develop and lead your team for optimal execution as well as career development, guiding the team to adhere to Agile development standards, develop career tracks, and coach staff through complex solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure the methodical, reliable, and predictable development of the Insights roadmap
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of Insights products to support various use cases and build conviction and standardization across both the enterprise and social care industry
- Monitor and improve end-user adoption for the Unite Us Insights products, including those pertaining to Platform, Payments, and Predictive
- Create analytical products that concisely and persuasively convey insights that translate to clear actions and distill sophisticated analyses for easy consumption by non-technical audiences
- Develop deep partnerships with product, data science, data engineering, and additional partner teams to ensure a consistent and coherent understanding of the products that your team builds
- In partnership with all engineering teams, ensure the adoption of and adherence to industry best practices for a mature business intelligence development shop
- Provide input to strategic decisions and identify disruptive strategies to become agile and relevant in the data and analytics space
- Participate in business strategy discussions, maintain inventory of agreed-upon company and team KPIs, determine how KPIs impact operational and financial performance of the business, work with business unit leaders to strategize and forecast accordingly, advise internal and external stakeholders on selecting relevant KPIs
- Carry the enthusiasm, commitment, and business savviness to navigate the many technical, political, and organizational roadblocks that can emerge in a fast growing organization
You're a great fit for this role if you have:
- An advanced degree in a quantitative science (e.g., computer science, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, health economics, biomedical informatics, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience and expertise (at least 10 years) with development of analytics products, particularly using business intelligence software (Tableau preferred, Power BI accepted) to produce customer-facing output such as dashboards and visualizations
- Demonstrated leadership and management (at least 5 years) of technical resources in the analytics field
- Technical fluency, versed in structured problem solving and quantitative analytics
- Domain knowledge with social care or healthcare, including a thorough understanding of the business and industry
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency at both the executive level and the individual contributor level
- Thoughtful strategic skills combined with timely execution
- Ability to effectively utilize sensitive data while also embracing security, compliance, and client privacy
- Proven effectiveness in partnering with disparate business disciplines to deliver tangible value
- Experience operating with a sense of urgency and transparency while lacking clarity
- Experience with managing large, multi-month, and occasionally multi-year projects

- Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn software technologies such as Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, HubSpot, Asana, etc.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position is remote, U.S. based
- The target pay range for this role is: $165,000 - $185,000. This salary range represents our target hiring range for this role. The proposed salary will be dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and competencies, as well as location.
