Responsibilities

As the Director of Industry Analyst Relations, you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with top industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) while becoming an expert and advocate for our platform within the analyst community. You will develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations strategy, create high-quality content to educate and engage analysts, and act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for a driven professional—such as an MBA candidate—seeking to transition into a software company and contribute to a high-impact, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  1. Analyst Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for analysts from Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other influential firms.

    • Build, nurture, and sustain long-term relationships with key analysts to ensure they understand and accurately represent Workato’s vision and value.

    • Organize and facilitate analyst briefings, inquiries, and advisory sessions.

    • Defining and leading long term proactive engagement plans with key analyst firms and individual analysts

  2. Content Development and Thought Leadership

    • Create compelling, tailored content for analysts, including presentations, whitepapers, case studies, and competitive positioning materials.

    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product marketing, sales, product management) to craft impactful narratives and data-driven insights that resonate with analysts.

    • Actively track and respond to analyst reports, inquiries, and publications to ensure Workato’s positioning aligns with our leadership aspirations.

  3. Strategic Insights and Advocacy

    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and analyst perspectives to provide actionable insights for internal teams.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring Workato’s messaging aligns with analyst expectations and market dynamics.

    • Advocate for Workato’s vision and innovation through expert-level understanding of our platform and the broader market.

  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Enablement

    • Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to integrate analyst feedback into strategic initiatives.

    • Support go-to-market strategies with insights and recommendations based on analyst research and feedback.

    • Contribute to demand generation efforts by leveraging analyst content and insights.

RequirementsQualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a relevant field such as consulting, analyst relations, product marketing, or business development.

  • Skills:

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create polished and persuasive content.

    • Strong project management abilities, with a knack for coordinating multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

    • Analytical mindset with a talent for synthesizing complex information and deriving insights.

  • Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with industry analyst processes and a basic understanding of SaaS, integration platforms, or automation technology is a plus.

    • Willingness to develop expertise in the integration and orchestration space.

For California applicants, the pay for this role begins at $145,000 plus variable, benefits, perks and equity.
