The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Director, AI Strategy and Implementation to lead the development and execution of AI strategies across the company. This role involves close collaboration with product teams and enterprise functions to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and drive innovation. This role will report directly to the CIO (or Sr. Director of Enterprise Technology Services), with dotted lines to the VP of Product and the CTO. 

What you'll do

  • AI Strategy Development: Formulate and execute AI strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to integrate AI into product development and with enterprise teams to enhance operational efficiency.
  • AI Implementation: Oversee the deployment of AI technologies across various departments, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
  • Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing AI team, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate AI vision and progress to stakeholders, including executives, employees, and customers.
  • Ethical AI Practices: Ensure the ethical use of AI and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

What you'll bring:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science, with a proven track record of leading AI initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $165,000 - $200,00 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
