Job Description:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute long‑term process plant strategies to meet quality, production throughput, yield, and cost targets.
  • Champion operational excellence, reliability programs, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Leadership

  • Provide operational oversight for two manufacturing facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable daily operations.
  • Own production performance, throughput, yield, and overall manufacturing KPIs.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams in engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, and EHS to achieve strategic and annual performance objectives.

Process Engineering & Technical Expertise

  • Lead process engineering activities focused on chemical processing, reaction systems, and high‑temperature thermal/heat‑treatment operations.
  • Develop, optimize, and scale advanced processing technologies to ensure process stability and capability.
  • Champion root‑cause problem solving, process troubleshooting, and complex technical analyses.
  • Foster the consolidation of autonomous maintenance in both facilities

Safety, Compliance & Environmental Stewardship

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, corporate, and site-specific EHS standards.
  • Drive a proactive safety-first culture focused on risk reduction, hazard mitigation, and process safety management (PSM) when applicable.
  • Oversee investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of safety systems.

Quality Leadership

  • Ensure consistent achievement of product quality standards, customer requirements, and ISO or equivalent certifications.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to address deviations and process improvements
  • Implement and monitor robust quality systems and documentation practices
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce variability, improve process control, and strengthen quality systems.

Financial and Performance Management

  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for processing operations.
  • Own operational cost structure, including labor, raw materials, energy, maintenance, and overhead.
  • Identify and implement cost‑reduction, efficiency, and productivity initiatives.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance teams.
  • Build organizational capability while fostering a culture of accountability, cross-functional collaboration, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive accountability, clear communication, and continuous skill development. Support workforce planning, training, and succession planning initiatives.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience leading manufacturing or processing operations
  • Expertise in process engineering for chemical processing and high‑temperature/thermal operations
  • Experience developing and scaling advanced processing technologies
  • Demonstrated track record in driving operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement programs
  • Knowledge of safety management systems, process safety management (PSM), and regulatory compliance
  • Experience managing cross‑functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, and EHS
  • Experience with quality systems and certifications (ISO or equivalent)
  • Financial management experience including operating and capital budget ownership
  • Experience implementing digitalization or manufacturing technology initiatives
