How you'll make an impact:
Identify new and innovative tools to improve overall analytics capabilities
Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., BUs, Functions and Regions) to understand business challenges, problems and opportunities with significant financial impact to the company. Provide recommendations, design, develop and lead the implementation of solutions, both technical (e.g., Metrics Dashboards, Meta-data additions to enhance reporting and analytics) and non-technical (e.g., ECR process changes, simplified workflow changes). Guide cross-functional teams to resolve issues identified by data analysis and provide recommendations on changes to policies and business processes.
Perform complex data analysis, develop data driven insights and root-causes for inefficiencies and ineffectiveness of processes, and identify opportunities to improve training, processes, systems and product data quality. Develop innovative solution alternatives to resolve issues, influence and create buy-in with key stakeholders while exercising wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments including driving the adoption of self-service model.
Influence and lead the business design, implement operational metrics dashboards for BUs, Functions and Regions/Plants. Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
Lead the design, development, deployment and on-going improvement of the data warehouse, portals and dashboards by partnering with stakeholders. Manage the complete data pipeline, from the data mart all the way through to end-user BI tools (e.g., data intake, validation, mining, modeling, visualization and reporting).
Provide technical expertise and lead high-level strategic problem solving sessions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Lead a significant or multiple process improvement activities including identifying and evaluating course correction/alignment opportunities.
Perform and manage software validation and/or testing requirements and activities.
Drive successful development to cross functional teams through training and mentorship.
Other incidental duties as assigned.
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, technical, business, or quantitative field with 12 years previous related experience required OR
Master's Degree or equivalent in a related field with 10 years of previous related experience required
Experience in architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, big data analysis, and analytic tools (ex: Tableau, Python)
Experience leading large data projects

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $159,000 to $226,000 (highly experienced).
