This position plays an important role in the day-to-day success of our community by leading administrative operations, supporting the Executive Director and department leaders, and ensuring residents, families, associates, and visitors receive exceptional service.

What You'll Do

As Director of Administrative Services, you will:

  • Provide leadership and direction for administrative functions, including reception, office management, and clerical support.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and support administrative team members.
  • Help create and improve office procedures and workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Oversee scheduling, correspondence, recordkeeping, and other administrative functions.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and related purchasing needs.
  • Coordinate meetings, community events, and special projects.
  • Support the Executive Director and department leaders with organizational and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure administrative practices comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards.
  • Professionally handle escalated questions or concerns from residents, families, and associates.
  • Partner with department leaders to support community goals and operations.
  • Assist with reports, audits, and regulatory reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and service.
  • May oversee security and/or transportation functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of administrative experience, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to professionalism, accuracy, teamwork, and exceptional service.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is an administrative leadership position in a professional senior living environment. The role includes regular computer and telephone use, meetings, interaction with associates and residents, and occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying materials weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.
