KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and supervise the fiduciary accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Review and work with line of business on the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and implement effective collection strategies.
- Ensure fiduciary GL accounts are reconciled timely and discrepancies are corrected within corporate deadlines.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the accounts receivable function.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer billing issues and disputes.
- Prepare and present regular accounts receivable reports to senior management.
- Implement and optimize accounts receivable software and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Work with management on special projects and acquisitions/integrations as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in Insurance or Accounts Receivables related experience.
- Managerial/leadership experience with supporting educational background.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles according to relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Experience in creating and managing budgets and forecasting receivables.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounts receivable functions.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Understanding of relevant accounts receivable software and technology.
- Experience in leading and managing accounts receivable projects, such as system implementation or process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership skills to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing accounts receivable team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
