Your Opportunity:
Venture Solutions is looking for a Director of Client Services to join our team in Arden Hills, MN. The Director of Client Services serves as a senior leader responsible for overseeing Strategic Account Directors and their respective account portfolios within a defined industry vertical representing greater than $50M in annual revenue. This position is accountable for driving strategic growth, strengthening executive-level client relationships, and aligning client service delivery with broader organizational and industry trends.
The Director of Client Services acts as a key partner to Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership, ensuring the organization remains competitive, informed, and positioned for long-term success within their assigned vertical. This role also serves as the senior point of escalation for complex client issues.
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship
Your Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, direction, and strategic oversight to Strategic Account Directors and Account Managers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
Own the performance, growth, and retention of a major industry vertical representing $50M+ in annual revenue.
Develop and execute vertical-specific strategies that drive revenue growth, client retention, and market differentiation.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
Serve as the senior escalation point for complex client issues, ensuring timely resolution and preservation of client relationships.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities; translate insights into actionable strategies for the business.
Lead industry education efforts internally, ensuring teams are knowledgeable on market dynamics, client needs, and evolving best practices.
Partner closely with Sales leadership to support sales enablement efforts, including strategy development, client positioning, and participation in key pursuits.
Collaborate with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, Technology, and Production to ensure alignment and successful delivery of client solutions.
Drive consistency and excellence in service delivery across all accounts within the vertical, ensuring SLAs and quality standards are met or exceeded.
Oversee financial performance, including forecasting, profitability, and pricing strategy across the vertical.
Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and scalable solutions that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
Lead and participate in executive-level client meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Provide guidance on complex contract negotiations and large-scale client initiatives.
Ensure effective communication and alignment between client needs and internal capabilities.
Support talent development by mentoring Strategic Account Directors and building a strong leadership pipeline.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centric thinking across the organization.
You Must Have:
8 years of Account Management, Client Services, or related experience, with significant leadership responsibility.
Proven success managing large-scale client portfolios or business units exceeding $50M in revenue.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
Deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and client needs within a defined vertical.
Demonstrated ability to translate strategic insights into actionable business outcomes.
Experience supporting sales enablement efforts and contributing to business development strategies.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, pricing strategy, and profitability management.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity, navigate complex challenges, and perform under pressure.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment across multiple departments.

The anticipated wage range for this position is $120,000 - 145,000. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
