Management of the UnitedHealthcare Key Accounts Account Management staff responsible for customer retention and NBEA sales in the 100 - 1000+ employee range. Responsible for the overall sale of NBEA business and the retention of existing accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor client assignments
  • Training of account management staff, new hire and ongoing
  • Maintain an acceptable level of persistency in teams' book of business
  • Recruit, hire and monitor account management staff

Required Qualifications:
  • Sales Insurance License Maintained by Law or obtain
  • 5+ years relevant sales experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with brokers/consultants
  • 5+ years of experience meeting sales goals/targets
  • 5+ years of experience using data analysis to drive change
  • 5+ years of proficiency in Microsoft suite to include, word, excel, PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Must maintain valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant, managerial experience within the insurance industry
  • 3+ years of financial, underwriting & actuarial experience within a brokerage firm or commercial health insurance plan

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $xx,xxx to $xx,xxx annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.
