Value Driven Solutions is engaging industry experts to support a confidential client through a focused commercial diligence project in the high-value alloy and specialty metal recycling segment. We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert who has operated inside this space and can provide grounded, real-world perspective on how the recycling market works for high-performance metals.
What You'll Do- Provide expert perspective on the structure and economics of high-value alloy and specialty metal recycling.
- Speak to sourcing of scrap/feedstock, supplier and customer relationships, and how value is captured across the chain.
- Assess competitive dynamics, fragmentation, and differentiation among recyclers.
- Offer a view on margins, processing capabilities, and the strategic value of recycling within the broader critical-metals supply chain.
- Participate in structured expert calls and/or written Q&A with the diligence team.
- Hands-on experience in high-value alloy and specialty metal recycling.
- Ideal backgrounds include experience at companies such as Sims Limited, Keywell Metals, Sovereign International Metals & Alloys, Monico Alloys, Allied Alloys, Greystone Alloys, Kataman Metals, or Exotech, or comparable recyclers.
- Familiarity with the recycling of nickel, cobalt, titanium, and other high-performance metal alloys.
- Understanding of feedstock sourcing, processing economics, and customer dynamics in the recycling market.
- Ability to engage candidly and professionally under a confidentiality agreement.
- Short-term, project-based advisory work.
- Confidential — a non-disclosure agreement is required prior to engagement.
- Conducted via scheduled calls and/or written input around your availability.
