The position of Messaging Engineer integrates our global Digital Workplace Messaging team inside IT Operations area. The role includes senior messaging engineering skills, and therefore act as a 2 nd Level escalation point for all matters regarding to Messaging. It is also expected participating in project delivery related work, been seen as a subject matter expert in matters related to Messaging, eventually supporting the Architecture team in technical decisions.

The position requires a thorough technical knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online, since will be accounted for timely resolution of incidents and ensure the proper maintenance of technical documentation. This role involves managing and optimizing messaging platforms that support transactional email workloads across diverse environments. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Linux-based mail systems such as Postfix and Sendmail, integrating with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, and ensuring reliable delivery of high-volume transactional emails.

The engineer will also be responsible for cross-platform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and implementing secure messaging protocols. This position requires a deep understanding of email routing, spam filtering, and system interoperability.
