The PositionWe are seeking a motivated Digital Workplace Junior Engineer to join our Digital Workplace Collaboration & Productivity team, supporting Automation & DevOps efforts to connect and empower over 150,000 global users. As a Junior Technical Consultant within Roche Informatics, you will collaborate with local and global partners to provide technical consultancy and deliver cutting-edge solutions in a modern, collaborative environment that enhances productivity and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and support Digital Workplace solutions using Google Workspace, DevOps, and automation tools while replacing manual procedures with automated solutions.
Identify and enhance Digital Workplace processes through efficiencies, automation, and proactive issue identification to maintain system integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless integration of digital tools.
Leverage AI technologies to optimize digital solutions, improve user experience, analyze data, and enhance communication and productivity.
Provide technical consultancy and support to users and stakeholders and document processes clearly for future use and maintenance.
Who you are
You have experience in working within a team environment, you communicate effectively and build strong professional relationships.
You have a foundational understanding of Digital Workplace technologies and Google Workspace.
You are focused on understanding the needs of the end-users and strive to create user-centric solutions that enhance productivity and satisfaction.
You have strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Multicultural and international experience preferred ideally working in a large Global organization will be a plus.
Experience and Technical Skills
Google Workspace environments (Google Core, Mail, Calendar, Drive, Chat, Spaces, Meet, Editors) hands-on experience.
Foundational technical skills, and working experience with infrastructure technologies.
Foundational technical skills, and working experience with Development technologies (Git, Python, Pip, Flak, Gunicorn, IDEs, scripting, Sql, REST APIs)
Foundational technical skills, and working experience with Devops technologies (Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab-ci, Dockers, Microservices, Message queues).
Foundational knowledge of modern workplace technologies.
Additional technical knowledge that could be a plus:
Foundational Microsoft (Microsoft 365, Sharepoint online, Teams, Exchange) knowledge.
Basic experience on GCP or AWS Cloud platform technologies.
Foundational understanding of AI technologies and their potential application in digital workplace solutions, and eagerness to learn about machine learning, natural language processing, and AI-driven automation tools.
Knowledge in ServiceNow or another ITSM solution.
