We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Transformation Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering information technology projects within the company or for clients. The Digital Transformation Project Manager will manage project resources, budgets, scope, and quality, coordinate with different departments and stakeholders, troubleshoot technical issues, and report on project progress and results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Establishes and implementing project management processes and strategies for all technical projects.
  • Analyzes project requirements and developing work schedules, milestones, and deliverables for the team.
  • Delegates tasks and overseeing the daily operations of the technical team.
  • Monitors team performance and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to the team and clients as needed.
  • Communicates project status and issues to senior management and clients.
  • Evaluates project outcomes and implementing lessons learned for future improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • In lieu of education, 11 years of relevant experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish and implement project management processes and strategies for all technical projects.
  • Analyze project requirements and develop work schedules, milestones, and deliverables for the team.
  • Delegate tasks and oversee the daily operations of the technical team.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team and clients as needed.
  • Communicate project status and issues to senior management and clients.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and implement lessons learned for future improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital transformation processes and adoption for DOTs/Tollways, Rail/Transit or Airports, including training and encouraging design teams to adopt a Digital Delivery processes.
  • Expertise in programmatic and strategic planning, change management, policy and standards development, and grant writing.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement, presentations, training development and delivery, workshops, and pilot projects.
  • Proficient understanding of 3D modeling, parametric design workflows and review, and technology gap assessments.
  • Ability to lead technology piloting and evaluation with a focus on integrated CAD/BIM, GIS and EAM solutions.
  • Experience in guiding DOTs/Tollways, Rail/Transit or Airports to identify software functionality needs and evaluation criteria, and coordinating with vendors on software enhancement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build deeper relationships within the team and strengthen team connections.
