Site Overview:

For more than 40 years, our advanced facilities in Singapore have led aerospace innovation across Asia Pacific. From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

The role focuses on collaborating with the training team to gain a thorough understanding of current certification workflow procedures and contributing to the digitization of these workflows using Covalent. Responsibilities include conducting research and gathering data to pinpoint areas for improvement in the certification process, as well as participating in testing and quality assurance to ensure the effectiveness of implemented solutions. The role also involves assisting in the development of documentation and training materials to support end-users in adopting the new systems. Additionally, the individual will work with cross-functional teams to integrate Covalent into existing systems and processes, ensuring smooth functionality. Supporting other training-related activities, such as workshops, troubleshooting, and user guidance, is also part of the role. Success in this position requires strong technical, analytical, and collaborative skills to enhance workflows, drive process improvements, and support training initiatives. Potential involvement in gamification for our onboarding program.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented and collaborative individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They should have experience in process improvement, workflow digitization, and familiarity with software tools. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and assist in creating clear documentation and training materials for end-users. Adaptability and a proactive approach are key, as the role involves supporting various training activities and integrating new systems into existing processes. A strong technical aptitude and the ability to conduct research and gather data to identify areas for improvement will be critical for success in this position.
