Covestro Films GmbH in Bomlitz has been enjoying success after success for more than 30 years. The Covestro subsidiary manufactures technical specialty films for industries such as medical technology, automotive engineering, and construction. This is one of the reasons why Covestro has made the site one of three German centers of excellence for high-performance films.

In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary between €89,400 and €108,500 per year plus a variable component. The starting salary is based on your qualifications and professional experience.

Your tasks in detail, divided into the following areas:

Digitalization:

  • You will lead the site-wide MES implementation to success and ensure its sustainable use in all production areas.

  • You will coordinate the S/4HANA migration for the operational area and ensure a smooth transition for all departments involved.

  • You will develop a future-oriented digitalization strategy for the site with a special focus on supporting and optimizing production processes.

  • You will actively represent the interests of the site in cross-functional digitization projects and drive the harmonization of the digital process landscape in continuous exchange with other sites.

Operational Excellence:

  • You will analyze operating and process data to derive meaningful KPIs and effective monitoring tools for continuous process optimization.

  • You establish data-driven decision-making and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the site.

  • You support the production areas in the successful application of operational excellence methods such as Lean Six Sigma and accompany their implementation.

  • You identify and develop site-specific best practices and promote their active exchange between the various departments and teams.

You bring the following to the job:

  • You have a bachelor's degree and several years of professional experience in IT, engineering, or natural sciences with a strong operational focus, or a comparable qualification. A master's degree or MBA is an advantage.

  • You have extensive experience in implementing MES systems and operational digitalization.

  • You have comprehensive expertise in the operation of production-related IT, including network structures, application concepts, and database systems, as well as experience in working with Industry 4.0 technologies and networked systems.

  • You have proven project management skills and experience in site-wide collaboration.

  • You have in-depth knowledge of OPEX tools and change management methods.

  • You have the ability to motivate people and successfully drive change processes.

  • You are fluent in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
