Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly driven, mature Digital Territory Account Manager to take ownership of a high-potential, high-volume mid-market territory. In this role, you will be the trusted advisor to our customers, turning prospects into long-term partners by leveraging F5’s cutting-edge direct and Channel Partner resources.

What You’ll Do:
- Own a High-Volume Territory: Define and execute advanced territory business plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will be responsible for effectively prioritizing and managing a large portfolio of accounts, selling across the entire F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform (ADSP)
- Drive Complex Sales Cycles: Manage end-to-end, full-cycle SaaS and cloud-based subscription sales at scale, navigating multiple buying personas including DevOps, NetOps, SecOps, and CXO-level decision-makers
- Build the Pipeline: Proactively prospect and assess new sales potential using F5 Business Analytics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other advanced intelligence tools to maintain a healthy pipeline across many accounts
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with Channel and Marketing teams to design territory-specific demand generation strategies, events, and digital campaigns that drive solution adoption
- Predictable Forecasting: Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce (SFDC), demonstrating mastery of complex procurement processes and high-volume deal tracking
- Uphold Integrity: Champion F5’s Business Code of Ethics and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct as an independent contributor
What You’ll Bring:
- Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent level of experience
- Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of proven experience in high-tech B2B solution sales, with at least 2 years successfully managing and growing a territory or commercial market.
- High-Volume Account Management: Demonstrated ability to independently manage, prioritize, and drive revenue across a large number of accounts simultaneously without letting opportunities slip.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cordially and productively with internal back-end teams—including Operations, Finance, and Legal—to navigate complex procurement processes and ensure seamless deal closures.
- Cloud & SaaS Expertise: Deep experience in full-cycle cloud-based subscription (SaaS) and software sales.
- Technical Acumen: Sales experience with application services, multi-cloud networking, and security solutions (Application Firewalls, API Security, Load Balancers, Bot Management, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Sales Mastery: Demonstrated success utilizing advanced sales methodologies like MEDDPICC or Challenger to close deals and manage a wide territory.
- Communication Skills: Highly persuasive written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in executive-level presentations.
