Your role
Reporting to the Regional DT Delivery Manager, you will be collaborating with functional peers and members of the RTX global DT network; as you work to build a stable and fully functional digital technology environment for our Australian operations.
Key responsibilities areas include:
Support the implementation, technical support and administration of local infrastructure (network/servers/storage) including installing, testing, maintaining, patching and upgrading of servers, databases, applications and backup solution.
Manage vendors, contracts, and internal customer relationships to ensure the service levels required by a high performing business are in place.
Assist with the scoping and implementation of application and infrastructure solutions while ensuring that they are supportable, aligned with RTX/Collins Aerospace Digital strategic road maps.
Ensure DT Infrastructure and Applications controls are following DT policies and SOX requirements, producing and reviewing various compliance reports on a regular basis.
Own and manage DT issues and solutions to completion.
Drive the continuous improvement of DT systems/services.
Manage the budget and track costs of DT services, hardware and software.
Collaborate effectively with Enterprise DT organisation to leverage DT applications and resources to effectively support and deliver solutions.
Manage and support local entities DT projects to ensure the business requirements and milestones are met with alignment to RTX/Collins strategic plans.
Key skills, experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, ICT, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
10 years of IT related work experience, with at least three years in lead role, coupled with 3 or more years of experience in supporting DELL and VMWARE based servers, as well as local area network infrastructure.
Experience
managing and maintaining Cloud services and platform
managing and maintaining Windows and Linux servers, as well as applications such as SharePoint
managing and maintaining Atlassian toolchain such as Jira, Bitbucket/Git, Bamboo and Confluence.
managing multi-platform software development and build systems including Windows and Linux.
with high availability and clustered servers.
with maintenance of product lifecycle management systems such as Windchill
with database (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle etc) administration and maintenance
