Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as primary finance partner to business CIOs across CES, D&S, PAT, and CSCX, shaping strategy, defining financial commitments, and challenging and influencing decisions to drive value.
- Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while prioritizing business partnership.
- Own DT financial rhythms, including partnering with the DT Finance FP&A team for all planning, forecasting, and reporting cycles, across respective cost centers, projects, and capex. Provide clear variance analysis, risks/opportunities, and deliver concise insights to leadership team to operationalize actions.
- Drive DT cost productivity across applications and spend categories, including prioritization and optimization in business-driven decisions. Link operational KPIs to financial outcomes and support agile/product-based models with transparent run vs. investment view.
- Lead financials for DT projects from business case through execution, including ROI/NPV analysis, scenario modeling, and benefits tracking. Support portfolio governance, prioritization, and standardized project financial tracking (budget vs. actuals, forecast to complete).
- Evaluate and monitor DT capex and opex investments, ensuring alignment with strategy and clear value propositions. Measure and report on realized savings, productivity, risk reduction, and other benefits vs. original business cases.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and accounting standards for DT spend and capitalization. Partner with controllership on accurate capitalization, accruals, reconciliations, and risk mitigation.
- Effectively use FLIGHT DECK to streamline and drive consistency in support to all businesses, removing duplication and areas of waste.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 8 years of finance experience (FP&A, operations finance, or project finance), with exposure to technology, IT, or digital organizations
- Financial modeling skills
- Proven project management and coordination skills
- Demonstrated experience in planning, forecasting, and financial analysis for complex cost structures or project portfolios
- Experience managing direct reports
- Proficient use of financial systems (e.g. Hyperion, Oracle) and analysis tools including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Broad finance experience within the segment in GE Aerospace
- Experience supporting Digital Technology / IT / Digital / Software organizations, ideally in a corporate or large enterprise environment
- Prior experience in project finance, PMO finance, or capex investment analysis

The base pay range for this position is $161,000-$215,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on May 8th.
